Spring 2027 Intern - MAGNet Program @ Georgia Tech OMSA

State Farm · Athens, GA · 3 wk ago
OTHR$36/hrInternship

About the role

As a State Farm intern, you will collaborate with experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and make a real impact. The internship program provides valuable training, mentorship, and networking opportunities while immersing you in the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 50 company. State Farm views interns as the future of the company and is committed to helping you succeed.

The Modeling and Analytics Graduate Network (MAGNet) program is a multi‑semester internship designed to prepare graduate students for a full‑time data science role at State Farm. Interns apply predictive modeling and analytical skills to a variety of data science problems, augmenting theoretical coursework while developing professionally. Because a single semester cannot cover all needed topics, MAGNet lasts the duration of the intern’s graduate studies, with renewal on a semester‑by‑semester basis. This posting is for the Spring 2027 semester; successful interns may be invited to return for subsequent semesters based on growth and progress relative to expectations. Continuation in MAGNet requires renewal each semester (Spring, Summer, Fall) throughout the graduate program.

Graduate students in the Online MS Analytics (OMSA) program at Georgia Institute of Technology are considered. While in the program, interns are evaluated for full‑time, post‑graduate employment at State Farm locations in Atlanta, GA; Bloomington, IL; Dallas, TX; or Tempe, AZ. Interns must remain in good academic standing and make significant progress toward their degree during academic semesters.

MAGNet is similar to a 50% graduate assistantship offered by the university, providing hourly pay comparable to that for graduate assistants and full tuition assistance for the duration of the internship. Some State Farm benefits also apply, including a 401(k) retirement plan, medical/dental/vision insurance, and paid time off (including community‑service leave). The internship is hybrid in Athens, GA; no relocation assistance is offered.
