Spray Technician
Job Description
- Apply fertilizer and chemical applications.
- Update spray records, inventory and MSDS sheets.
- Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders.
- General upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment.
- Over time be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issues.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Secondary studies in turf, agronomy or insects is desirable but not necessary.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Willing to attend continuing education seminars and classes.
- Have no problems wearing spray applicator suites, full face respirators, or chemical resistant apparel.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Do simple math.
- Willing to learn.
- Detail oriented.
- Keep area neat and organized.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Secondary studies in turf, agronomy or insects is desirable but not necessary.
Skills
Required skills include: applying fertilizer and chemical applications, updating spray records, calibrating spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders, general upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment, and learning to diagnose pest and fungus issues.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with some weekend work required.
