Spray Technician
Job Duties
- Applying pesticides and fertilizer on all greens, tees, and fairways on the golf courses*
- Aiding in the monitoring and identification of diseases, insects, and weeds on golf course greens, tees, fairways, and rough*
- Keeping application records and inventory of pesticides and fertilizers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Two (2) years experience in golf course maintenance
- Must possess or be able to obtain PA Pesticide Applicator's License
- Must possess valid PA Driver’s License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Turf Grass Science degree or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and math skills to perform calculations
- Ability to calibrate application equipment
- Working knowledge of the maintenance of greens, teas, and fairways
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a plus
Job Demands
- Physical requirements include ability to lift 50 lbs and operate heavy machinery
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
This position is considered Safety Sensitive, as defined in the HE&R Drug and Alcohol Policy.

Candidate must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
