Spray Application

The Spray Technician is responsible for applying chemicals as directed.

Chemical Safety

Possesses an awareness of and commits to chemical safety practices.

Instructions Accuracy

Fulfills assigned tasks accurately following instructions.

Education and Experience

• Has or can obtain a Qualified Applicator Level (QAL) certification.
• Basic knowledge of plant material.
• Able to communicate in English and Spanish – both orally and in writing.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Continuous bending, stooping, and twisting throughout the day.
• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks, including some overtime and weekend work.
• Capable of working in extreme conditions, including temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Works in direct sunlight for extended periods.
• Works in situations near direct automotive traffic and natural bodies of water.
• Works in conditions that may require continuous exposure to extreme heat.

Work Environment

• Work in or around situations near direct automotive traffic.
• Work near or about natural bodies of water.
• Work 5 days a week, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work.
