Spray Application
The Spray Technician is responsible for applying chemicals using proper techniques and safety protocols.
Chemical Safety
Possesses an awareness of and commits to Chemical Safety, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Follows instructions accurately
- Carries out assigned tasks
Education and Experience
- Prior experience with chemical/pesticide spraying
- Basic knowledge of plant material
- Able to communicate in English & Spanish – oral and written
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day
- Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
- Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
Work Environment
- Work near or about natural bodies of water
- Work in or about situations near direct automotive traffic
- Work 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
Compensation
Pay Range: $26-$35/hour depending on experience
