Spray Technician

Spray Application

The Spray Technician is responsible for applying chemicals as directed.

Chemical Safety

Ensures adherence to chemical safety protocols.

Communication

• Communicates in English and Spanish orally and in writing.

Education and Experience

• Has or can obtain a Qualified Applicator Level (QAL).
• Basic knowledge of plant material.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously.
• Continuous work throughout the day.
• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks.
• Some overtime and weekend work required.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions including high temperatures (exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit).
• Work near or around natural bodies of water.
• Work in direct sunlight for extended periods.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Work Environment

• Work in or about situations near direct automotive traffic.
