Spray Application

The Spray Technician is responsible for applying chemicals as directed.

Chemical Safety

Employees must demonstrate an awareness of and commitment to chemical safety.

Instructions Accuracy

Tasks must be completed accurately according to assigned instructions.

Education and Experience

• Has or can obtain a Qualified Agricultural Laborer (QAL) certification.
• Basic knowledge of plant material.
• Able to communicate in both English and Spanish – both orally and in writing.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Continuous bending, stooping, and twisting throughout the day.
• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks, 5 days a week (some overtime and weekend work required).
• Work in extreme conditions including temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Work in direct sunlight for extended periods.
• Work in situations near direct automotive traffic and natural bodies of water.
• Work in conditions that may require working in extreme heat.
