Spray Application
The Spray Technician is responsible for applying chemicals as directed. They must demonstrate an awareness of chemical safety and follow all assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- QAL certification or ability to obtain one
- Basic knowledge of plant material
- Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written)
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- At least 18 years old (21 if operating company provided vehicles)
- Strong stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to safely operate landscaping equipment
- Able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, stand, walk continuously throughout the day and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Able to perform manual labor using a variety of hand tools
- Able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Valid driver's license required for operating company provided vehicles
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed
- Able to maintain required medications for allergic reactions
Work Environment
- Outdoor/indoor work in moderate to extreme weather conditions
- Direct sunlight for extended periods
- Near automotive traffic, bodies of water, fumes, dust, mechanical and/or electrical hazards
- Loud noise environments
- Environments with allergens, insects, and reptiles
Pay and Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $21.00-$27.00/hour, weekly on Friday.
