Essential Duties
- Processes prescriptions accurately, following established dispensing policies and procedures, including store transfers.
- Aids in store inventory preparation.
- Serves as a positive representative of the Pharmacy to all department customers.
- Participates in quality improvement activities in the department.
- Compounds of Non-sterile medications up to and including Moderate Compounding as defined by USP.
Job Requirements
- Must be fully licensed in the state of Michigan as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Two years college experience preferred.
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
- High school diploma, GED, or successful completion of 12 grades combined with continued enrollment in early college program.
- Completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred.
