Spotter

Key Responsibilities

• Drives trucks around dock area for Transportation Company or department
• Sspots (positions) loaded or unloaded trailers at assigned docks for unloading or loading using tractor
• Connects loaded trailers to tractors for delivery drivers
• Fuels tractors
• Maintains truck in proper working condition
• Assists workers in loading and unloading truck and trailers
• Other duties, as assigned

Skills / Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English
• Able to sit for 8 hours
• Able to lift and carry 70lbs
• Must have a valid and clear driving record
• Must pass a DOT Physical

Site Overview

Our West Chicago, IL facility is a non‑union/union manufacturing plant with approximately 200 employees. The site specializes in producing polyurethane foam and other foam products. As a key location within FXI’s manufacturing network, the Corry plant is known for its strong focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence. Team members work in a collaborative, supportive environment where continuous improvement and innovation play a central role.
