Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain bar area relative to supplies, equipment, and removal of empty or soiled articles.
• Ensure ample supplies of glassware, napkins, straws, ice, and garnishes are available during service periods.
• Complete all established bar setup duties in a timely manner.
• Perform work assignments directed by bartender or beverage management.
• Adhere to sanitation practices and procedures to keep bars and equipment clean, sanitary, and odor-free.
• Follow food and beverage department regulations and procedures.
• Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• T.I.P.S. certification and Sanitation certification.

Work Environment

• May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including secondhand smoke and excessive noise.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and taste or smell.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Requires close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Fast-paced, often crowded and noisy environment with constant exposure to the general public.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

Preference is given to Native Americans, with first preference to members of the Seminole Tribe and second preference to members of other federally recognized tribes. Final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check, which may include a credit check and criminal background check.
