Duties

Assisting the Head Women’s Head Lacrosse Coach with all aspects of coaching and administration of the NCAA DIII Women’s Lacrosse program at the US Coast Guard Academy.

  • Recruiting athletically and academically qualified students.
  • Scheduling and conducting practices and competitions.
  • Managing home women’s lacrosse competitions.
  • Ensuring program compliance with all colleges, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Performing any other duties and responsibilities related to the coaching position as needed or directed by the Head Coach of Women’s Lacrosse.
  • Teaching different skills associated with the program, working to maintain statistics, and breaking down film.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Collegiate women’s lacrosse experience.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred (in addition to the minimum):

  • Collegiate, High School or Lacrosse Club coaching experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting athletically talented, academically qualified and diverse Student athletes to an academically rigorous institution.

Essential Information

Residency Requirements: Non-U.S. nationals, who are authorized to work in the U.S. and applying for any DHS position, must have resided within the United States, or U.S. territories, for at least three of the last five years.
