Sports Specialist (Assistant Football Coach) Temp FT NTE 1– 6800

Duties

• Serve as an assistant Football coach, supporting the Head Football coach at the Naval Academy Preparatory School (NAPS).
• Help in development and improvement in football of the athletes to include practice planning, in-game support and coaching and training programs.
• Oversight and monitoring of Coast Guard Academy preparatory candidates assigned to NAPS.
• Perform duties assigned such as operations and administrative support for the NAPS Athletics Director.
• Report back to USCGA Director of Athletics and Director of Admissions (and their designees) on status of USCGA candidates assigned at NAPS on a regular basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

• Collegiate football experience.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• PREFERRED:
• Collegiate or HS football coaching experience.
• Demonstrated experience in recruiting athletically talented, academically qualified and diverse student athletes to an academically rigorous institution.

Essential Information
