Sports Medicine Physician -Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Arlington VA

About the role

We provide integrated healthcare for patients with neuromusculoskeletal injuries and chronic conditions. Our team coordinates evaluation, diagnostic testing, treatment, and rehabilitation to support recovery from start to finish. You’ll work alongside clinical colleagues and rehabilitation professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and guide patient progress. Responsibilities

• Conduct initial medical consultations and follow-up visits
• Evaluate and manage orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and related medical concerns
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing, laboratory studies, and imaging
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans focused on recovery and improved function
• Refer patients to in-house therapies and coordinate rehabilitation care
• Assess patient progress and readiness to return to work following illness or injury
• Collaborate with clinical colleagues and support staff to provide coordinated care
• Maintain timely, accurate medical documentation
• Float between offices in Arlington, Falls Church, and Herndon

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Sports medicine background with strong knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
• Active, unrestricted Virginia medical license
• Strong clinical judgment, patient communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to provide coverage across all three office locations

Pay

$250,000 annual salary, with compensation based on specialty and training.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, no call or weekends.
