Internal / Family Medicine Physician
About the role
Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care for adult patients
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Coordinate care with specialists and hospital-based providers
Participate in preventive care, wellness visits, and chronic disease management
Maintain accurate medical documentation within the electronic medical record system
Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nurses, and care teams
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Responsibilities
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligible for or currently holding a Maine medical license
- DEA certification (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
