Sports Information Director

About the role

The University of Saint Francis is seeking a Sports Information Director to join its team. The position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director and is responsible for maintaining the university's Catholic identity, Franciscan charism, and commitment to the liberal arts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Athletic Director in implementing the new mission statement and strategic plan.
• Manage a student workforce and one graduate assistant.
• Ensure the university's Catholic identity, Franciscan charism, and commitment to the liberal arts remain central to the educational mission and public identity.
• Use Presto statistical software to assist in sports information management.
• Manage livestreaming and social media content.

Requirements

• Experience in Sports Information at the collegiate level.
• Experience with Presto statistical software.
• Experience managing a student workforce and one graduate assistant.
• Experience with livestreaming and social media content.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Experience with event planning and coordination.

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Presto statistical software.
• Experience with livestreaming and social media content.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
