Sports Information Director

Sarah Lawrence College, a private, coeducational college located 30 minutes north of Midtown Manhattan, is a member of the Skyline Conference and NCAA Division III.

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Sports Information Director to implement a comprehensive communications plan and manage all aspects of sports information for our intercollegiate athletics program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan promoting the intercollegiate athletics program and achievements of student-athletes and coaches.
• Manage all in-game operations for statistics, scorekeeping, and public address for all home contests.
• Handle statistical reporting to the NCAA, Skyline Conference, and other organizations.
• Oversee media relations, publications, web, and social media presence.
• Supervise and train student game-day workers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred).
• Previous experience in a collegiate sports information office.
• Proficiency with statistical software.
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage projects with minimal supervision.

Pay

$60,000 - $66,300
