SPORTS BAR F&B OUTLET ASSISTANT MANAGER

Responsibilities

• Supervise an F&B Outlet and manage daily operations
• Create and manage schedules to maintain labor costs and meet staffing objectives
• Support budget processes and report budget concerns to manager
• Support and promote superior customer service
• Achieve department customer service goals
• Enforce gaming laws and regulations
• Maintain and develop procedures for food service
• Ensure efficient and pleasant service for guests
• Maintain cost control methods and procedures
• Assist F&B Manager with administrative duties
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Two years of Food and Beverage experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum two years previous supervisory experience
• Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to communicate verbally and read documents in English
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables
• Obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work flexible hours including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Ability to present information and respond to questions
• Ability to evaluate staff performance and deliver feedback
• Ability to recommend staffing and scheduling
• Ability to manage workflow and provide recommendations for employee performance

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and enforcement of gaming laws and regulations
