Responsibilities

• Develop age-appropriate Sports and Athletics curriculum for after-school students
• Lead weekly in-person classes with enthusiasm and expertise
• Establish a well-structured and lively classroom that keeps students engaged
• Foster a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment for students of varying skill levels
• Build connections with students in a warm and inclusive environment
• Track student growth and offer positive, helpful feedback
• Create a memorable experience for the children in your class

Requirements

• Subject matter expertise in Sports and Athletics
• A passion and skill for building hands-on projects with kids
• Excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning
• Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Bring your own voice and creativity to each class you teach
• Be cooperative, supportive, and flexible
• Be dependable, proactive, and thrive when given autonomy

Qualifications

• Has experience teaching school age children
• Brings a positive attitude and enthusiasm to the classroom
• Willingness to adapt to different teaching styles and environments

Skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Experience working with diverse groups of students

Pay

Taught per class, either flat rate or per-student (determined by the partner school)

Schedule

Teaching opportunities can last from 6 weeks to 18 weeks, with terms determined by the partner school.
