About the role
This is a part-time, 20–25 hr/week position with on-site hours Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Coach elementary school-age children in after-school sports programs
- Facilitate participation in basketball, flag football, volleyball, soccer, and kickball
Requirements
- Experience working with elementary school-age children
- Knowledge of the basic rules of basketball, flag football, volleyball, soccer, and kickball
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (provided and paid for by the YMCA)
- Level 2 background and drug screen required
- English and Spanish fluency preferred
