SPORTS ARENA TEAM MEAL COORDINATOR
About the Role
Join the Team Help take care of the team behind the scenes! As the Team Meal Coordinator, you will support Levy team members and managers by preparing, organizing, and serving staff meals during event days and working hours. This position plays an important role in keeping our team fueled, supported, and ready to provide great service throughout Delta Center events. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, friendly, and enjoys preparing meals for others in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, prepare, and oversee team meal service for event-day staff and managers.
- Prepare high-volume meals for approximately 30 to 150 team members and managers, based on event needs.
- Coordinate with Culinary leadership and kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation, portioning, timing, and presentation.
- Set up, serve, maintain, and break down team meal service areas.
- Ensure meals are ready and available to team members in a timely and organized manner.
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes, meal counts, and overall presentation.
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify managers when stock is running low.
- Help control meal costs and portion sizes while staying within budget expectations.
- Keep meal service areas clean, organized, and sanitary throughout service.
- Follow all Levy, Delta Center, food-safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace-safety standards.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and professional environment for team members during meal service.
- Complete additional duties as assigned based on event and business needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in catering, food service, hospitality, or meal coordination is preferred.
- Prior supervisory, lead, or coordination experience in food service is a plus.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food-safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and team-focused.
- Ability to stand, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to work a flexible event-based schedule, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah Food Handler Permit.

Pay
$18.00 HOURLY
