Sport Instructor Baseball

About the Role

The Baseball Instructor will work with kids ages 3 to 6 and parent volunteer coaches at the following locations:

• Mid Atlantic Community Church (Saturdays starting 9/12/26)
• Anne Arundel Community College (Saturdays starting 9/12/26)
• Mitchellville South Park (Sundays starting 9/13/26)

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Setup and breakdown of individual baseball fields
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• With the help of established platforms, communicate game day information to players and parents
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, 7 weeks)
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
