Sport Coordinator Baseball (T-Ball)

Established in 2003, i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics for kids ages 3-17 in popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and baseball. About the role
The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches by building relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring the instructional aspects of the program are delivered. The role involves hands-on involvement with practices and games across all age groups and skill levels, with a focus on observing, assessing, and assisting coaches.
Responsibilities
- Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
- Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including Sportsmanship values
- Supervise the overall operation of the designated sport on game day
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; ability to work independently and solve problems
- Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure player safety
- Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including Saturdays only, for the full duration of the season (~7 weeks)
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
