About the role

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The role involves building relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting coaches is a key part of the position, with hands-on involvement in practices and games across all age groups and skill levels.

Schedule

• 7-week season: 8/24/25, 8/31/25, 9/7/25, 9/14/25, 9/21/25, 9/28/25, 10/5/25
• Off Labor Day (9/1/25)
• Final day: 10/6/25 (unless make-up games are needed)
• Potential make-up dates: 10/19/25 and 10/26/25
• Approximate hours: 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM (final times TBD)
• Varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings for the full duration of the season

Pay

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of the designated sport on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; ability to work independently and solve problems
• Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure player safety
• Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
