About the Role
The Coordinator will support the Sponsorship & Events Manager and each property to facilitate local community involvement. This role performs all duties and responsibilities necessary to meet the goals and objectives of applicable programs, ensuring genuine engagement and positive energy to provide guests an escape into an exciting fantasy world of fun, chance, and possibility.

Responsibilities
- Manages the planning and execution of all community-involved sponsored events for Wind Creek Hospitality.
- Manages and updates all advertisements related to sponsored events.
- Coordinates with appropriate departments to ensure events are adequately staffed (Go Team, casino marketing, promotions).
- Provides administrative support, including processing vendor applications, tax forms, and other required documentation.
- Prepares and executes check requests for community-involved events.
- Maintains accurate record-keeping of current events through the filing system.
- Updates the Google+ calendar daily with community events and follows up with notes post-event.
- Creates documents in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; or currently enrolled in a GED program to be completed within 6 months of start date as a condition of continued employment.
- Six months of experience in Guest Services.
- Working knowledge of computers, including Windows environment and software such as Word, Outlook, and Excel (a skills test will be administered and must be passed with a 70% score).
- Excellent customer service, writing, and verbal communication skills (a writing skills test will be administered and must be passed).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Willingness and ability to take direction from multiple managers.
- High level of maturity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must pass a job interview, including a guest service audition.
- Valid and current State Driver’s License with an insurable driving record for driving company vehicles as required.
- Ability to work odd and irregular hours as needed; major travel required.
- Willingness to participate in training as recommended or required.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
- Willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment.
