About the role
The Sponsored Research Specialist is responsible for managing sponsored research projects, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and coordinating with external funders.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of sponsored research projects including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
- Coordinate with external funders to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory bodies and funding agencies.
- Oversee the procurement process for research materials and equipment.
- Support the development and maintenance of institutional policies related to sponsored research.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as biology, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a research support role.
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations governing research, particularly those related to sponsored research.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Knowledge of grant writing and proposal development.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay
$50,000 - $60,000 annually.
Schedule
