About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team in a K-12 alternative certification program. This role is designed for individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of students and who are eager to transition into a teaching career.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and success.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and parents to support student learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to state and district educational standards and policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong desire to pursue a career in education.
- Eligibility to enroll in a Michigan-approved alternative certification program.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
