About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team in a K-12 alternative certification program. This role is designed for individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of students and who are eager to transition into a teaching career.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and success.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and parents to support student learning.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to state and district educational standards and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Strong desire to pursue a career in education.
  • Eligibility to enroll in a Michigan-approved alternative certification program.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
