Spirit Defense - Mid-Level - Quality Assurance Supplier

Position Responsibilities

• Ensure suppliers meet purchase contract and customer requirements and regulatory agency/government regulations.
• Plan, organize, and conduct audits, surveys, and inspections of suppliers.
• Represent the company with suppliers.
• Create Control Plans for suppliers and ensure they stay on track.
• Work with suppliers to submit Notifications of Escapement (NOE) and work towards closure with 8D’s.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (U.S. Citizenship required).
• 5 - 8 years of experience in manufacturing and operations.
• 5 - 8 years of experience with Quality/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Certified in Root Cause Corrective Action and able to perform conformity checks.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, procedures, First Article Inspections (FAI), and understand contracts.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (Domestic and International).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Technical or Engineering degree.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (Domestic and International).

Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level 3)

$83,064 - $127,365

Export Control Requirements

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. A “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
