About the role
The Spine Specialist position at Globus Medical involves working with the Spine Territory Manager, covering a territory, managing inventory, and performing limited sales responsibilities. The Associate Spine Specialist represents the company in accordance with its quality policy and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Gains and consistently increases product knowledge through formal sales training and attending surgeries/operating room visits.
- Maintains and exceeds sales goals and objectives.
- Sells and services Globus Medical products and services to existing and competitive customers based on a strategic plan.
- Aids the Spine Territory Manager on field calls for assigned geography and addresses account issues.
- Develops and expands the customer base and enhances Globus product market share within the assigned territory.
- Provides feedback on product development opportunities, new target accounts, sales performance, and market insights.
- Maintains conduct aligned with the company's quality policy and procedures, and protects confidentiality with proprietary information.
- Stays current with compliance training requirements and adheres to company policies and laws.
- Represents the company professionally and upholds ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct.
Qualifications
- 3-7 years’ successful spine sales experience preferred, may consider other healthcare-related sales and/or business-to-business sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business.
- Exemplary ability to listen, communicate, and influence.
- Strong understanding of spinal anatomy.
