Spine Neurosurgeon

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Florida Neurological Institute is seeking a highly skilled Neurosurgeon with a focus on spine surgery to join the Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, Florida. This fellowship‑trained physician will become part of an established team of three neurosurgeons and will play an integral role in the continued growth of neurosurgical and spine services on Florida’s Treasure Coast.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with complex and degenerative spinal disorders.
• Perform spine surgical procedures, with opportunities to develop and expand a focused spine practice.
• Participate in the continued growth of Cleveland Clinic’s spine and neurosurgical programs on the Treasure Coast.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment with neurosurgery, neurology, orthopaedics, pain management, physical medicine and rehabilitation, radiology, and other specialty services.
• Engage in clinical research and academic collaboration.
• Contribute to programmatic development, quality improvement, and future growth initiatives.
• Work with colleagues throughout Cleveland Clinic Florida and Cleveland Clinic’s enterprise in Ohio.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Fellowship trained with a strong focus and demonstrated experience in spine neurosurgery.

Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced training and/or significant clinical experience in spine neurosurgery, including complex and degenerative spine conditions.
• Proficiency in minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal reconstruction, and other advanced spine procedures.
