Speed City - Karting Team Member (Part-Time)

Description

As a member of the Speed City Karting team, your role will include offering exceptional service and contributing to the COTA vision of making memories for our guests. At COTA, there is fun at every turn, and we believe every team member should reflect the spirit of fun!

• Give every customer immediate and undivided attention.
• Surprise and delight the customers with consistent support from the beginning of their experience to the moment they leave our campus.
• Ensure the safety of everyone by thoroughly cleaning all work areas often during your shift.
• Follow department procedures to maintain inventory and process payment transactions.
• Operate and sanitize all karting/ride equipment according to company procedures.
• Educate COTA guests on the entire Speed City karting experience with enthusiasm.
• Operate our Soaring Eagle and other amusement rides.
• Make sure seat belts and lap bars are locked and secure.
• Enforce rider restrictions and measure for height requirements.

• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Understand and communicate quality goals and all COTA information to customers.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Able to work flexible hours to meet department needs.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but is loud during events.
