Speech Therapist | UF Health Leesburg/Spanish Plains |Full-time | Days

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates patient specific clinical care that is safe, effective and best practice.
• Documents care provided per departmental standards.
• Demonstrates compliance with all HCAHPS behaviors to allow patients and families to have an excellent hospital experience.
• Completes assigned work as scheduled in allotted time frame.
• Engages in departmental/hospital committees, PI projects, educational offerings to peers, mentoring/precepting of new team members.
• Attends Staff Meetings, completes all required competencies and mandatory education as assigned.
• Sets goals for personal growth and development, seeks training, educational, certification and enhancement in area focus/specialty.
• Demonstrates behavior standards that enhance positive interactions with physicians, peers, patients and family members.
• Completes other duties as requested/assigned.

Requirements

• Master's Degree Required
• Florida Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
• BLS

• Education: Master's Degree Required
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Florida Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience: Required Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. This position is required to have knowledge and competency to assess, treat, interpret, and/or care for the population specifics as identified. Adolescents (age 13) through Geriatrics (> 65 years)
