Speech Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist - SLP - ST (Per Diem)

The Role

The primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting. This includes working collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Document services accurately and timely using electronic documentation systems
• Adhere to strict confidentiality standards and HIPAA guidelines
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident progress and treatment plans
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding speech-language pathology services

Requirements

• Possess a current Speech Language Pathologist (ST / SLP), license or be license eligible to practice in the state
• Employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Be flexible with hours
• Must have CCC's - SNF experience

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and best practices

Pay

Good Faith Rate Range: $50.00 - $60.00
