The Role
The primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting. This includes working collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
- Document services accurately and timely using electronic documentation systems
- Adhere to strict confidentiality standards and HIPAA guidelines
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident progress and treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding speech-language pathology services
Requirements
- Possess a current Speech Language Pathologist (ST / SLP), license or be license eligible to practice in the state
- Employed
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
- Work well with others in a team setting
- Be flexible with hours
- Must have CCC's - SNF experience
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement processes
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

- Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and best practices

Good Faith Rate Range: $50.00 - $60.00
