Qualifications
- Current Connecticut license
- Advanced degree from an accredited program
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
About the Role
Speech Therapists / SLPs will assess patients, diagnose disorders that can impact swallowing and speaking, and provide treatment for patients. They will also counsel individuals and their families on ways to improve and support their personalized treatment plans and update patient records according to the department’s processes.
