About the role

Assess patients, diagnose disorders that impact swallowing and speaking, and provide treatment. Counsel individuals and their families on ways to improve and support personalized treatment plans. Update patient records according to department processes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients’ speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders
• Diagnose specific disorders and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy to improve patients’ communication and swallowing abilities
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on strategies to support treatment goals
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with department procedures

Requirements

• Current Delaware state license in Speech-Language Pathology
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program

Pay

Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,782

Schedule

19-week assignment starting 10/05/2026. Shift: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (day shift).
