About the role
Evaluates and treats patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Communicates with appropriate clinical staff, physicians, and family members regarding treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Requires a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
- AL licensure as a Speech Pathologist and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech/Language Pathology from the American Speech-language-hearing Association (ASHA) is also required.
- If CFY, must be under the supervision of CCC until license is obtained.
- Must complete initial and annual Speech Language Pathology Competency.
