Role Overview

The Speech Language Pathologist provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. They collaborate as a vital member of the interdisciplinary care team, ensuring compliance with licensing, certification, and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and review patient information during treatment.
  • Assist in collecting data on patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and instruct support staff and assistants in accordance with practice acts.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • State-issued Speech Pathologist licensure.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred: Two years of experience and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Requirements

  • Adherence to safety protocols, including vaccination policies.
  • Ability to instruct and supervise support staff.
