About the role

The Speech Therapist (Speech-Language Pathologist) will evaluate and treat a diverse range of communication and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include addressing challenges related to speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, auditory processing, and/or dysphagia, and developing personalized treatment plans. The role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team, participating in case conferences, and performing and interpreting results of MBSS.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop personalized treatment plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Perform and interpret MBSS results
  • Address challenges related to speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, auditory processing, and/or dysphagia

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington State
  • Certified by ASHA within one year
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent clinical judgment

Qualifications

  • Experience with ALS and Parkinson's Wellness clinics
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform MBSS
  • Ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Pay

$49.03 - $70.38 /hour

Schedule

64 hours per pay period, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
