About the role
The Speech Therapist (Speech-Language Pathologist) will evaluate and treat a diverse range of communication and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include addressing challenges related to speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, auditory processing, and/or dysphagia, and developing personalized treatment plans. The role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team, participating in case conferences, and performing and interpreting results of MBSS.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop personalized treatment plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Perform and interpret MBSS results
- Address challenges related to speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, auditory processing, and/or dysphagia
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington State
- Certified by ASHA within one year
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent clinical judgment
Qualifications
- Experience with ALS and Parkinson's Wellness clinics
- Knowledge of and ability to perform MBSS
- Ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Schedule
64 hours per pay period, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
