Qualifications

• Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
• Required Education: Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Required Licensure/Certifications: Current Florida license as Speech-Language Pathologist, BLS from the American Heart Association, Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
• Experience: Less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (e.g. Acute care, Outpatient, SNF)
• Necessary Skills: Knowledge of Speech Language Pathology theory, procedures, practices and equipment, Good communication skills, Proactive, positive approach to problem solving, Thorough knowledge of possible hazards/necessary precautions/remedial actions in the care of patients, Ability to assess for an implement treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses, Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
