Speech Therapist Inpatient

About the role

Therapists perform functional evaluations to develop and implement treatment plans for the best therapeutic outcomes for patients from infants to collegiate and professional athletes to senior citizens. Services include Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy. Inpatient and outpatient services are available.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates patients, develops a treatment plan based on goal directed objectives, delivers/documents care, and provides d/c planning on all physician referred patients.
• Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff.
• Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state/national regulations, hospital standards, and departmental policies/procedures.

Requirements

• Current Speech Therapist licensure in state of practice.
• Auto liability insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Current driver's license.
• Must register with and successfully pass the Family Care Safety Registry upon hire.
• Must be able to successfully pass KDADS criminal record check upon hire.
