About the role

Under supervision, provides diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats communication and swallowing disorders for both adult and pediatric populations.
• Administers diagnostic tests and implements individualized treatments.
• Advises physician and patient of disorders and develops treatment schedule.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Implements and maintains department policies and procedures.
• Identifies opportunities for new or enhanced services or levels of patient care.

Requirements

• Completion of a Speech Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Internship required.
• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• National Provider Identifier.
• Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate.

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements.
• Able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Actual base pay determined at offer will be based on labor market data, internal alignment, and a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.

$56.67 - $60 / hour
