About the Role

The Speech Therapist delivers quality patient care by conducting assessments, administering treatments, and developing care plans based on physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed speech therapy services
• Create evaluation reports and establish therapy goals
• Coordinate with healthcare teams and educate families
• Follow policies, procedures, and legal standards
• Document evaluations, care plans, and patient progress
• Collaborate with healthcare team and families
• Maintain confidentiality and effective communication
• Support clinical staff as a resource
• Report patient needs and progress to physicians and team

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Unrestricted SLP license in the practice state
• Current CPR certification
• Preferably one year of recent experience in an acute care setting
