Job Summary

Good Samaritan Home Care is seeking a Part Time Speech Therapist to provide therapy to patients in their homes, focusing on improving speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills. The role involves developing individualized treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing training to family members.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients in their homes, including techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
• Customize therapy strategies to meet individual patient goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Provide training and support for family members to assist with therapeutic exercise and strategies at home.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Must have an active SLP license in Indiana and Illinois and certification (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification.
• One-year Speech Therapy experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Drivers License.
• Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
