About the role

CHI Franciscan Home Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team servicing the Pierce and South King County areas. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in their homes. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing training to family members.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients in their homes, including techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
• Customize therapy strategies to meet individual patient goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Provide training and support for family members to assist with therapeutic exercise and strategies at home.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active registered SLP license in the state which you practice and certification (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification.
• One-year Speech Therapy experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Drivers License

Pay

The posted compensation range of $42.17 - $69.58 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
