Speech Therapist - Clinical Fellow (CF)

About the Role

This role involves providing speech-language pathology services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapy implementation for diverse patients. The candidate will complete a minimum of 36 weeks of Clinical Fellowship under supervision, ensuring adherence to licensure and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete clinical fellowship while being mentored by a licensed, ASHA-certified SLP.
• Maintain compliance with licensure requirements and document progress.
• Participate in patient care, team meetings, and interdisciplinary referrals.
• Develop and adapt treatment plans based on patient needs and assessments.
• Promote a safe environment, order supplies, and maintain equipment.
• Evaluate patients through history-taking, testing, and interpretation to establish diagnoses and treatment goals.
• Implement therapy techniques in areas such as cognition, speech, swallowing, and communication.
• Coordinate adaptive devices, refer hearing assessments, and instruct patients in their use.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Perform related duties to support patient-centered care and safety.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field approved by ASHA.
• State licensure, certification, or credentialing as required.

Pay

$37.00 - $41.00 per hour.
