Speech Therapist
Key Responsibilities
- Screen patients/residents and develop appropriate care plans
- Evaluate patients/residents and provide direct treatment in accordance with an established plan of care
- Participate in clinical team process and contribute to team meetings and decision-making
- Provide teaching and training to care giver staff and supervisors
- Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Speech Therapy
- Current licensure by the applicable state agency
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in long term care, preferred
- CEU's per state licensure requirements
