About the role
You will assess and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You may also perform research related to speech and language problems and implement alternative communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Achieve positive outcomes for patients through assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct research related to speech and language problems and implement alternative communication systems.
- Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
Requirements
- Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Experience in school-based therapy preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for pediatric therapy and patient care.
