Speech Therapist
About the role
Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position. This in-house program operates within a welcoming, slower-paced community environment that delivers holistic care with a strong focus on prevention.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to residents, including evaluations, planning individual treatment programs and goals, actual treatments, discharge planning, and performing other related duties as required.
- Grow professionally through opportunities to build relationships by following residents across the full continuum of care, including inpatient, home health, outpatient, and fitness services.
- Make clinically driven, patient-centered treatment decisions that guide all programs and care plans.
- Participate in positive leadership philosophy that encourages input into programming, systems, and creative idea sharing.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- An active Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
- A valid Speech Language Pathology license or eligibility for license in the state(s) where services are rendered
- Experience in a skilled nursing and/or outpatient rehab environment (preferred)

Pay
$76,385.00 - $96,267.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
