About the role
This is a great opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed hospitalist team within a busy, well-respected practice. Working within a collaborative program that utilizes dedicated rounding and admitting shifts, you'll benefit from a steady internal referral base and the full resources of a strong health system network. Join an established team of 10 physicians and 8 APPs7 on/7 off schedule.

Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
Adapt fluidly across specialized clinical shifts, delivering targeted care either as a dedicated admitter managing initial workups and entry into the hospital, or as a rounder managing patients daily through to recovery
Coordinate seamless patient transitions and discharge plans in close collaboration with the case management team, ensuring safe, well-communicated continuity of care for patients returning home or transitioning to post-acute facilities.

Minimum requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
