About the role
The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats communication disorders, swallowing, feeding, and intellectual deficits across various age groups including infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers, school-age children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats communication disorders, swallowing, feeding, and intellectual deficits in diverse age groups.
- Provides services to infant neonates, toddlers, pre-schoolers, school age children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
- Works under supervision until obtaining the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Registration for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of Speech Pathology evaluation and treatment procedures.
- Must be licensed by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech Pathology.
- Has a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

- One year of related experience
Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech, Hearing, and Language Association or Registration for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech Pathology
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
